I don’t know about you, but while I love the smell of fresh-brewed coffee in the morning (and the sound of nobody around me for that first cup – #sorrynotsorry), I don’t like the smell of the coffee grounds in the trash! YUCK!
So, upcycle those coffee grounds! This summer I finally started to put them in the soil of my azalea’s and hydrangeas (because there is no denying a bright blue hydrangea is so gorgeous!) but in the winter, am I the only one who has dry, rough skin? I didn’t think so!
Try this recipe for a DIY Coffee body scrub and let me know what you think!
1 cup cold, used coffee grounds
½ cup of coconut sugar
½ cup of melted coconut oil
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 cinnamon stick
Mix together all ingredients except for the cinnamon stick, until well combined.
Store in a jar, and place your cinnamon stick in the center.
Seal and use twice a week for smooth, amazing winter skin.
Enjoy!
