Want a morning routine that can make a HUGE difference and doesn’t take any time? Give this a try….
Before bed, place a glass of water on your bed stand. (Maybe even add a drop or two of Lemon Essential Oil). Drinking room temperature water first thing in the morning helps rehydrate our bodies after a nights sleep, not to mention aids in digestion and helps kick start that metabolism! Adding the Lemon Essential Oil is refreshing, helps naturally cleanse the body and also aids in digestion!
Sit up tall, on the side of your bed and start with gentle neck rolls, 8 to the right then 8 to the left. Take your time, rolling all the way around, dropping your ear to your shoulders, chin all the way down to your chest and gently rolling the head back.
Next up, shoulder rolls…roll your shoulders up and back, in an exaggerated motion, letting your shoulders fall down your back away from your ears. 8 rolls back, then 8 rolls front.
Lastly, let’s open up those hips! Sit on the side of your bed, feet flat on the ground. If that isn’t an option, then you may have to get out of the comfy bed!🤪 Cross your right ankle up and over your left knee, gently pushing down on the right knee, opening your right hip, holding this stretch for 16 counts. Switch sides and get to your 5am class at DailyBarre! 😉
